How does new york city use aqueducts?

New york city uses its aqueducts for water
provision for housing and other regular use.
for example the croton aqueduct ,
and aqueduct that was opened for public
use on October  14 1842.
this aqueduct greatly icreased the hygien of
people in the city.New york city also use's the
 catskill aqueduct for its water suply , the catskill
aqueduct was ocompleted in 1924.

New york city also uses the deleware aqueduct,shandaken tunnel and the east and west delaware tunnels.
