Water tank project reflection.
The project assignment was to create artwork for water tanks and raise awareness of problems with or water supply.before i did the artwork i was assigned questions to answer that were about aqueducts. after completing these questions i had to create a water tank cover that stood out and caught attention. for my artwork i made water bottles and used repetition and then on top i put the words mother natures killers in bright red letters so that it would stand out that water bottles affect the environment. my artwork shows how water bottles are killing the environment. It shows this by saying mother nature's killer on top of multiple water bottles. The bottles are white symbolising nothingness and death. the water issue my artwork is about is how water bottles are killing the environment which leads to the contamination of the world's fresh water supplies.because of this issue humans are affected and this can lead to many tragedies. this artwork will show how water bottles affect the environment and water and hopefully my message on top of the water bottles will lead to people researching water bottles and the environment to see what they can do to stop pollution from water bottles for the better good.
my greatest challenge with this artwork was choosing what to do , i overcame this problem by doing research on water pollution and incorporating my studies in environmental science with my work in graphic design class. i dont think i learned 3 valuable lessons during this project , i only think i learned 1 , which was to conserve water because one day we might not have it.
